Hotel Los Frailes This Hotel is located in Venezuela's high grasslands with an 16th century monastery architecture. It has recently been remodeled and redecorated. The mountain climate and the natural setting of this hotel makes this an unique base for exploring the amazing biodiversity of this virgin region in a jeep, hiking, biking or on horseback. Guests may simply enjoy the quiet atmosphere as well, with its communal reading room and welcoming original fireplace. Hotel Los Frailes offers 48 comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms with private bathroom and heater units. There is also a recreation room and a restaurant where guests can relax after an exciting day of exploring this breath taking nature. The restaurant here offers excellent international and original Los Andes food. The bar has a giant brick fireplace which provides the proper atmosphere for enjoying appetizers and cocktails in the evening.
